The LPN Congress 2018, the main event for the Latin American poultry and animal nutrition industry, will be incorporating two leading international experts as technical directors,

Gregorio Rosales and Edgar Oviedo.

These two extraordinary incorporations will further promote the management of the technical direction of the event, strengthening the best Latin American poultry and nutrition meeting point. 

Gregorio Rosales and Edgar Oviedo will be joining Mario Penz in the directing team of the LPN Congress 2018, working hand in hand to transform this event into one of the reference events of the Latin American poultry and animal nutrition sectors.  

Mario Penz will be the Technical Director of the nutrition congress, while Gregorio Rosales y Edgar Oviedo will be leading the technical direction of the two poultry halls (broilers/eggs) at the LPN Congress 2018.

The LPN Congress 2018 will be held in Miami on October 23rd, 24th and 25th, with an outstanding poultry and animal nutrition programme aimed at the Latin American public.

Managers, production managers, veterinarians, nutritionists, consultants, integrators, egg production farms, hatcheries, among many other types of companies, are the target public of the  LPN Congress 2018, that provide an innovative programme that will take place in three halls (1-Broiler production, heavy breeders and incubation, 2-Egg production/rearing y 3-Monogastric nutrition and feeding ) during the three days of the congress.

Meet Gregorio Rosales:

Born and raised in Texcoco, State of Mexico, Gregorio Rosales is Diplomate of the American College of Poultry Veterinarians and has received honors from the  American Association of Avian Pathologists (AAAP) and from the US Poultry and Egg Association for his dedication and distinguished service to the industry. From 2015 until now he has been working as a private consultant.

Meet Edgar Oviedo:

Born and raised in Colombia,  Edgar Oviedo is a Professor and Extension Specialist in Poultry Nutrition and Handling at the “Prestage” Department of Poultry Sciences at North Carolina State University (NCSU). He has published 85 papers in scientific magazines and 350 professional publications, and he also coordinates extension progammes on broilers as well as international courses on poultry production. Other areas of work are mineral nutrition and mathematical modelling for optimizing poutltry production.


Meet Mário Penz:

Born and raised Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Mário Penz is an Agricultural Engineer and a Professor in Zootechnics at the The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He earned his PhD in Animal Nutrition at the University of California – Davis. He is a member of various associations, including the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA) and the Brazilian Society of Zootechnia. Currently he is the Global Poultry Director for Provimi Group for more than thirty countries, where he has been for more than 8 years.
